Il piano annuale di studi prevede lo studio del repertorio solistico, cameristico e con orchestra del violoncello con particolare attenzione a un metodo di insegnamento improntato sulla sperimentazione, comparazione e discussione. Alle tradizionali lezioni si affiancheranno incontri aperti, lezioni di gruppo, laboratori e incontri con ospiti vari.
Lo studente ha diritto a un incontro mensile di due giorni con il docente titolare del corso, Umberto Clerici (www.umbertoclerici.it). Per ogni incontro ci sarà una lezione singola tradizionale e una sperimentale che varierà di volta in volta anche su suggerimento degli studenti stessi. Alla realizzazione del corso sarà sempre presente la pianista Saskia Giorgini, che congiuntamente al titolare del corso approfondirà particolari aspetti del repertorio.
Il corso di Umberto Clerici è aperto anche a pianisti che vogliano approfondire il repertorio per violoncello e pianoforte.
Non è obbligatorio essere in possesso di diploma di Conservatorio.
Gli esami di conferma hanno luogo, senza possibilità di rinvio rispetto al calendario stabilito dal docente, salvo accertati motivi di salute o artistici.
Esame di ammissione
Ottobre 2011 (presentazione domande entro il 20 settembre 2011).
I candidati che invieranno la domanda di ammissione saranno tenuti a informarsi sulla data e l'ora delle audizioni, che si terranno presso la sede dell'Accademia.
L'ammissione avviene tramite l'esecuzione di un programma, della durata di circa 20 minuti (per violoncello solo, violoncello e pianoforte, violoncello e orchestra), tratto dal repertorio concertistico.
Cello

The annual study plan includes study of the cello repertoire for solo cello, chamber music and cello with orchestra, with particular attention to a way of teaching based on experimentation, comparison and discussion. Besides traditional lessons, open meetings, group lessons, workshops and meetings with several hosts will take place.
Each student has right to one meeting of two days each month, with the course tutor Umberto Clerici (www.umbertoclerici.it). In each meeting an individual traditional lesson will take place, besides an experimental one which will change even following the suggestions of the students. Together with the course tutor, la pianista Saskia Giorgini will be constantly present, and will alternate with the course tutor for particular aspects of the course.
Umberto Clerici’s course is also opened for pianists who want to study in deep the repertoire for cello and piano.
It is not obligatory to have just obtained the Conservatory Diploma.
The proficiency exam takes place on the date chosen by the lecturer, and can only be postponed for certified health or artistic reasons.
Entrance exam
October 2011 (deadline for sending application forms: within September 20th, 2011).
Candidates who present the application form are requested to inquire about the date and time of the auditions, that will take place at the Academy.
Admission is based on the performance of a program, with a duration of around 20 minutes (for solo cello, cello and piano, cello and orchestra), taken from the concert repertoire.
